The partnership continues between Terry Crews and Bernhardt Design with the release of his latest creation, the Becca Modular Lounge Collection.Based on the impressive success of last season’s finely tailored sofas and club chairs, Crews has expanded the Becca family to include versatile modular pieces.Together, thecomplementing additions provide new possibilities for design and comfort. The new collection will debut in June 2020.
Crews states, “I loved the idea of comfortable lounging on pieces that are irresistibly cozy but still deliver a sleek, modern appearance. I began by drawing modular sections that could coexist with Becca, aspiring to provide enhanced comfort without sacrificing clean design. In our changing world, Becca works just as well at home as it does in a commercial space.”
The Becca Lounge Collection consists of multiple interchangeable pieces in various lengths that can rotate 45 and 90 degrees, depending upon your preference. Each segment is separate; however, the varying combinations offer versatility, resulting in a satisfying cohesiveness. Graceful and elegant lines are accentuated by a continuous welt around the perimeter of the form with saddle stitch seams on the inside and outside.
“Terry has incredible insight regarding trends and the pulse of the times,” said Jerry Helling, President of Bernhardt Design. “He understands scale, space, and flow. His artistry shines through in everything he touches; Terry’s the ultimate ‘Renaissance Man.'”
The collection consists of nine individual pieces, which may be arranged in a broad array of options to create the perfect layout. Three welt choices are available: standard, the option of using decorative trim, and a bespoke welt fashioned in a material selected by the customer. The collection is available in any Bernhardt Textile fabric and leather or the customer’s own material (COM).
